LIVE IN A
HISTORICAL
MASTERPIECE
Nestled in the shadow of the vintage city walls, Palazzo Passerini is a 15th-century masterpiece, built between 1492 and 1495 by Passerini. He then moved to Florence and became friends with Lorenzo di Medici (Later Pope Leo X). He returned to Cortona in 1526 to take up residence in the main square in a building gifted to him as Cardinal Passerini. He later built a grander Palazzo outside the city walls, but our Palazzo was the original and is built on Etruscan foundations that date back millennia.
